Deduce Daily collects nothing. There is no network, no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising. The day's puzzle is generated entirely on your device, and your progress and stats are saved on your device only.
Deduce Daily saves the following on your device only, using Apple's on-device storage:
Each day's puzzle is derived from the calendar date using an on-device calculation — nothing is fetched from a server, and no two devices ever need to communicate for everyone to get the same puzzle on the same day. This information is held in the app's private storage on your iPhone. It is not transmitted anywhere, and the developer cannot see it.
The Copy result button places a short text summary of your guesses (as coloured emoji squares, like other daily puzzle games) on your device's clipboard. This only happens when you tap the button, and the app has no control over where you paste it afterwards — that choice, and the sharing, are entirely yours.
Reset progress in the app clears all saved guesses and stats instantly. Deleting the app removes everything else along with it. Because nothing is ever uploaded, there is no copy elsewhere for anyone to delete — there is no account to close and no server-side copy to request the deletion of.
If you have iCloud or iTunes device backups enabled, your device backup may include Deduce Daily's saved data, the same as any other app. That backup is controlled by Apple and your Apple Account settings, not by this app.
Deduce Daily has no accounts and collects nothing from anyone. It contains no objectionable content and is suitable for all ages.
If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated. Since the app collects no data, any change is likely to be a clarification rather than a change in practice.
