Privacy Policy — ShiftCycle

ShiftCycle does not collect your data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no servers. Everything you enter stays on your device.

What the app stores

ShiftCycle saves the following on your device only:

Shift types you define — codes, names, colours, and hours
Rotation patterns and the days they fill
Days you assign, and any notes you add to them
Pay rates, premiums, and overtime thresholds
Photos and files you attach, and the dates you attach them to
Preferences — your display name, currency, week start, overtime settings

This information is held in the app's private storage on your iPhone or iPad. It is not transmitted anywhere. The developer cannot see it.

What the app does not do

No account creation and no sign-in
No network requests of any kind — the app has no server component
No analytics, crash reporting, or usage measurement
No advertising and no advertising identifiers
No tracking across apps or websites
No location access
No contacts, calendar, microphone, or health data access

Photo library

If you attach a photo, iOS shows its own picker and passes only the image you chose. The app never browses your library. A copy of the chosen image is stored inside the app.

Files you export

When you export a CSV, the file is created on your device and handed to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes next is your choice — email, Files, AirDrop, or another app. Once it leaves ShiftCycle, the receiving app's own terms apply.

Deleting your data

Delete an individual day, shift type, rotation, or file inside the app
Settings → Erase all data removes everything at once
Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device

Because nothing is uploaded, there is no copy elsewhere for anyone to delete.

Backups

If you have iCloud or iTunes device backups enabled, your device backup may include ShiftCycle's data, the same as any other app. That backup is controlled by Apple and your Apple Account settings, not by this app.

Children

ShiftCycle is a work-scheduling tool with no accounts and no data collection. It is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will be updated. Since the app collects no data, any change is likely to be a clarification rather than a change in practice.
